Adventure Hiking

Hit the trail, breathe the fresh air, and see what you’re capable of. Along the way, you’ll discover amazing views, new friendships, and the kind of memories you can’t make in a classroom. Adventure hiking isn’t just a walk—it’s an experience.

2024 R-5 Trip:

Students from R-5 High School participated in a rewarding hiking experience through the OWL High School Adventure Program. This adventure encouraged students to step outside the classroom and onto the trail, where they learned the value of perseverance, teamwork, and connecting with the natural world.

Guided by OWL instructors, students explored diverse landscapes, practiced outdoor skills, and discovered the benefits of being active in nature. Along the way, they built confidence, strengthened relationships with peers, and gained a deeper appreciation for the outdoors.
